Each production facility that is planned to develop and implement mandatory includes an assessment of the environmental impact. The construction of new production facilities undoubtedly affects the environment, and our goal is to reduce the negative environmental impact in all phases: planning, designing and construction. Information concerning the environment differs from stage to stage of the project and, for the public insight, is regularly published on our Web site. AD ESM has formed a team that coordinates environmental programs, which enables controlling the environmental performance of the projects. Building a new power plant requires active involvement of the public and local communities in all phases of the project. This involvement is part of the statutory requirements for assessing the impact of projects on the environment.
